If the school needs to close for any reason (bad weather, emergency incident, for example), you will receive a text message (it is important that we have an up-to-date mobile number for you at all times).

Recommended school dress is as follows:-
Navy blue jumper, sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece and a sky blue polo t-shirt.
For Girls: Uniform grey skirt, pinafore or trousers / sky blue and white checked dress in the summer.
For Boys: Uniform Grey / Black trousers / grey shorts.
All children must have a pair of indoor shoes to change into inside the building. These can be their PE plimsolls.
For the range of school activities to be fully enjoyed by the children, parents are asked to supply the following items which should all be marked with their child’s name.
- Navy blue shorts and plain sky blue t-shirt for P.E.
- Plimsolls and trainers for indoor P. E./ outdoor games
- An overall for messy work (an old shirt is ideal)
We no longer hold any stock of school uniform in School (although we do still sell bookbags).
You can purchase items of uniform from Scallywagz on Daventry High Street (Tel: 01327 700069) or order it from them online at www.scallywagz.co.uk. Orders can be delivered to School free of charge.
Absence From School
If your child is unable to attend school for any reason, please make sure you contact the school before 9.15am on the first morning of absence.
You can telephone the school and leave a message on the absence line (please press 1) or you can email the school (email@example.com).
If your child has a medical appointment during school time, we should be obliged if you could please let the office have a copy of any correspondence received relating to that appointment.

As well as containing all the latest news, planning information, meetings and minutes, the Council have put together a useful pack to introduce you to the local area. They also publish a regular newsletter which is available online to those who live outside the villages.
