Whole School Activity
Tuesday, 9th February 2016 (Shrove Tuesday)
The whole school made pancakes today - the school smelt mouthwatering and everyone enjoyed some delicious toppings, including lemon and banana, with sugar, of course.
Chinese New Year celebrations with a day of Chinese dancing, culminating in a performance for our parents.
Indian Culture Day
There were four workshops: food sampling, dancing, rangoli picture making and geography/flag-making. We worked in our Houses and had the opportunity to try all the workshops.
On 23rd September everyone participated in Indian Dance Workshops - the look of concentration on many faces was lovely to see as were the performances at the end of the day.
Thank you to Santa for coming to visit us and to the children for making their Christmas wishes our tree decorations as well as working hard in their Houses for the Enterprise Stalls. Thank you also to all the parents, staff and governors who helped man the stalls and to all friends and family who came to the Fair.
Harvest Festival Assembly
We would like to thank everyone who brought in a donation of food for the Daventry Food Bank.
